Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and SIYAY Cleaning Co. ("SIYAY," "we," "us"), a Pennsylvania cleaning business based in Southampton, PA. By using siyay.co, requesting a quote, or booking a cleaning, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The service
SIYAY provides residential cleaning in Bucks County, Pennsylvania — recurring service, deep cleaning, move-in / move-out cleaning, pre-event and post-construction cleanups, and limited office cleaning. Pricing depends on home size, frequency, and any add-ons you select.
3. Quotes, scheduling, and changes
- A quote is a good-faith estimate based on what you tell us and what our estimator sees on the in-home visit. The final invoice may differ if the cleaner finds the home meaningfully different than described, or if you ask us to do extra work on-site.
- Quotes expire 14 days after they are sent. Acceptance is recorded electronically via the link in the quote email.
- Reschedules and skips need at least 24 hours' notice. Within 24 hours, contact us by phone — we accommodate emergencies but cannot guarantee same-day reschedules. The reschedule / skip controls in your client portal honor this 24-hour window.
4. Access to your home
- You can be home during a cleaning, give us a lockbox or garage code, or leave a key by other arrangement. Codes you share are encrypted and only revealed to the assigned cleaner on the day of service. You can ask us to delete codes anytime.
- You are responsible for disclosing hazards we should know about — fragile items, pet behavior, allergies, security cameras inside the home, areas you want left untouched.
- We may decline service or leave a job in progress if a home is unsafe (active biohazard, aggressive animals, threatening behavior).
5. What we clean — and what we don't
- We clean what is part of your selected package and any add-ons. The exact checklist depends on the package — recurring, deep, move-in / move-out, post-construction, pre-event, office.
- We do not move heavy furniture, climb above standard step-stool height, handle biohazards (raw sewage, blood, drug paraphernalia), care for pets, or do specialty services we are not licensed for (mold abatement, pest control).
6. Pricing, invoicing, and payment
- Pricing follows the package and add-on rates in the catalog at the time of booking. Pennsylvania sales tax (6%) is added where applicable.
- Invoices are sent by email after the cleaning is completed and admin-reviewed. Standard terms are Net 7 from the issue date.
- Today payment methods are Venmo (@SiyayCleaning), Zelle (hello@siyay.com), check, or cash. Card payments via Stripe are planned (Phase 11) and will be added with advance notice.
- Late invoices may incur a reasonable late fee or pause of recurring service. We would rather talk than impose fees — if a payment is going to be late, please reach out.
7. Cancellation
- You can cancel a single visit, pause recurring service, or end the relationship at any time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a fee equal to up to half the visit price, since the cleaner's schedule is already committed.
- We may cancel or pause service if invoices go unpaid past due, if access cannot be arranged, or if the working environment becomes unsafe.
8. Satisfaction and re-cleans
If something is wrong, tell us within 24 hours and we will re-clean the affected area at no extra charge. We'd rather make it right than negotiate. We do not refund completed work after that 24-hour window unless something further surfaces from within our control.
9. Damage and lost items
We carry general liability insurance and our cleaners are background-checked. If something gets damaged during a cleaning, contact us within 24 hours — we will investigate and either repair, replace, or reimburse fair value. We do not cover pre-existing wear, items not disclosed as fragile / valuable, or damage that surfaces outside the contemporary timeframe.
10. Photos
Before / after photos help our team verify quality and let you see the result in the client portal. We do not publish photos of your home publicly without explicit written permission. You can request deletion of any photo at any time.
11. Account and conduct
If you create an account on siyay.co, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Do not share your account with other households. Use of the service to harass our team, post threats, or attempt to access another client's data will result in immediate termination.
12. Intellectual property
The siyay.co site, the SIYAY name, logos, and all content are the property of SIYAY Cleaning Co.. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to view the site for your personal, non-commercial use only.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Pennsylvania law, SIYAY's total liability for any claim arising from a cleaning is limited to the amount you paid for the cleaning in question, plus any reasonable cost of re-clean. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or anything that cannot be limited by law.
14. Disputes
We prefer to resolve disagreements directly — call or email us first. If we can't work it out, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and any legal action will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material updates will be emailed to active clients before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
