1. Who we are

SIYAY Cleaning Co.("SIYAY," "we," "us") is a residential cleaning service based in Southampton, PA, serving Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website (SIYAY Cleaning Co. at siyay.co), request a quote, become a client, or sign in to your client portal.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact details you give us — name, email, phone, home address — when you request a quote or book a cleaning.
  • Home details our estimator records during an in-home visit — size, layout, pets, allergies, focus / avoid notes, parking instructions, photographs of the home (before / after) taken with your permission.
  • Access information you choose to share — lockbox code, garage code, alarm code, Wi-Fi password — stored encrypted at rest and only revealed to the cleaner assigned to your home on the day of service.
  • Account credentials if you sign in to your client portal — email address and a hashed password held by our authentication provider.
  • Service history — past cleanings, line items, invoices, payments.
  • Limited technical data — IP address, browser, basic page-view counts, and crash reports — used to keep the site working.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, credit card data (post-Phase 11 we will use Stripe — see Section 6), or precise device geolocation.

3. How we use it

  • To quote, schedule, and deliver the cleaning service you asked for.
  • To send transactional email — quote, schedule confirmation, "cleaner on the way," invoice, payment receipt.
  • To respond when you contact us.
  • To keep the service running and to fix problems we find or you report.
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for third-party advertising. Marketing email beyond service updates is opt-in only.

4. Who sees it

Your information is visible to:

  • The SIYAY office (Jess and the small admin team).
  • Estimators during the quote visit.
  • The cleaner(s) assigned to your home — limited to what they need to do the job (address, home profile, access codes for the day).
  • Service providers we use to run the platform (see Section 5). They process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Authorities, when required by law (subpoena, court order) or to protect safety.

5. Service providers we use

  • Vercel — hosts the website and processes basic page-view analytics.
  • Supabase — database, authentication, file storage. Data resides in the United States (us-east region).
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (quotes, invoices, notifications).
  • Sentry — error and crash reporting. Sensitive identifiers (access tokens, names, emails) are stripped before any event leaves your browser; reports contain only your account UUID.

We review these providers periodically. If we change them or add new ones we will update this list and the "Last updated" date.

6. Payment information

Today payment is handled manually — Venmo, Zelle, check, or cash — and SIYAY only stores the reference number you give us (e.g. "Venmo confirmation ABC123"). When we add Stripe (planned Phase 11) card data will be processed by Stripe directly; we will never store full card numbers.

7. How long we keep it

  • Active client records — kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after you stop service, so we can answer questions and meet tax / accounting obligations (typically 7 years for invoices and payments).
  • Access codes — deleted on request immediately, and on a regular schedule for inactive homes.
  • Photos — kept while you are an active client; deleted on request.
  • Crash and analytics data — kept short-term (7-90 days depending on provider).

8. Your choices

You can ask us to:

  • See what we have about you.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete your information, subject to legal retention requirements (e.g. invoices we must keep for tax purposes).
  • Stop sending you marketing email.
  • Remove access codes and home photos at any time.

9. Children

SIYAY does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. The service is for adults arranging cleaning at homes they own or rent.

10. Security

We use industry-standard practices — encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted credentials at rest, role-based access controls inside the database, and encryption of sensitive home-access fields (lockbox codes, alarm codes) using a managed key vault. No system is perfect; if a breach affects you we will notify you as required by Pennsylvania law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated by email to active clients.
